Two Day Vision Tech Fest 2025 Kicks Off at Desh Bhagat University with Enthusiasm
Mandi Gobindgarh, Sept 15: The Techno Club of the Faculty of Engineering Technology and Computing, Desh Bhagat University, inaugurated the two day Vision Tech Fest 2025 with great zeal and enthusiasm .
The fest commenced in the august presence of Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal, Vice-Chancellor of IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, who graced the event as the Chief Guest, alongside the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, senior dignitaries, faculty members, and students.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome and the traditional lighting of the lamp, marking the formal opening of the fest. In his address, Dr. Susheel Mittal emphasized the importance of Engineers’ Day while underlining the role of research and innovation in everyday life.
Concluding the inaugural session Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur appreciated the organizing team for hosting such a vibrant and impactful event.
Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice-Chancellor of DBU, highlighted the role of engineers as the backbone of innovation, while Dr. Khushboo Bansal, Deputy Director, introduced the themes of the fest.
Following the inauguration, dignitaries visited the project stalls and university laboratories, where students from Desh Bhagat University and other institutions showcased their innovative ideas.
Participants presented projects, Hackathon prototypes, and real-world applications, receiving appreciation and encouragement from the guests.
The interactive session fostered a spirit of creativity, technical excellence, and problem-solving, truly embodying the essence of Vision Tech Fest 2025.
