Desh Bhagat University Officials Honoured with Government Recognition on Republic Day
Mandi Gobindgarh, January 30: On the proud occasion of Republic Day 2026, distinguished members of Desh Bhagat University (DBU) were honoured with Praman Patra by the district administration in recognition of their exemplary services to the community.
Dr. Sona Thind, Deputy Commissioner, Fatehgarh Sahib, conferred the certificates on behalf of the Government of Punjab to Dr. Kulbhushan, Director Campus, and Dr. Prabhjot Singh, Deputy Director Nursing, Desh Bhagat University. The honour was awarded in appreciation of their dedicated and commendable contributions to the district of Fatehgarh Sahib.
In addition, Mr. Harpreet Singh, Assistant Registrar, and Associate Professor Dr. Darshna were felicitated by Sh. Chetan Bangar, SDM, Amloh, for their valuable contributions in the field of education.
The recognition highlights the continued commitment of Desh Bhagat University’s faculty and administration towards academic excellence, social responsibility and community service. Dr Zora Singh Chancellor and Dr Tajinder Kaur Pro-Chancellor congratulated the awardees and expressed pride in their achievements, stating that such honours inspire the entire institution to continue working for the betterment of society.
