Ayurveda Goes National: Desh Bhagat Ayurveda College Inks MoU with CARI Patiala for Groundbreaking Health Research

Mandi Gobindgarh, March 10: Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI) Patiala, under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

 

The pact launches a national-level collaborative research project titled “Study on How Ayurvedic Lifestyle and Medicinal Plants Help in Primary Healthcare.” It will explore the role of Ayurvedic daily routines, diet, and medicinal plants in promoting wellness and preventing diseases.

 

This partnership underscores a firm commitment to advancing scientific research in Ayurveda, elevating academic standards, and reinforcing Ayurveda’s pivotal role in India’s healthcare ecosystem.

 

The milestone owes much to the visionary leadership of Dr. Zora Singh, Hon’ble Chancellor, and Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor. Director Campus Dr. Kulbhushan and Principal Dr. Hem Raj expertly coordinated the initiative. Management is optimistic that it will unlock new research avenues for faculty and students, bolster institutional research, and elevate Ayurveda’s stature nationally and globally.
