Patiala News: Two-day SIR Special Camps to be held at all Polling Booths on July 11 and 12 for Filling and Submission of Enumeration Forms: Deputy Commissioner

-Says BLOs will remain available at all designated polling booths to assist electors

District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Patiala, Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, said that in accordance with the directions of the Election Commission of India, two-day Special Intensive Revision (SIR) camps will be organised at all polling booths across Patiala district on July 11 (Saturday) and July 12 (Sunday), 2026. The camps are being organised to further streamline the ongoing house-to-house Enumeration Form filling process under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).

He said that during these special camps, to be held from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, electors will be able to fill and submit their Enumeration Forms.

The District Election Officer further informed that, as per the directions of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Punjab, Ms. Anindita Mitra, the process of filling Enumeration Forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls will continue till July 24.

Appealing to all electors of Patiala district to participate actively in these special camps, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal said that any elector who has not yet filled the Enumeration Form should immediately contact the concerned Booth Level Officer (BLO) or visit the nearest polling booth during the special camp to fill and submit the form.

He said that active public participation is essential to ensure that every eligible elector is included in the draft electoral roll to be published on August 3.

The District Election Officer further said that Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will remain present at all designated polling booths during the camps to assist electors throughout the process.
