Patiala News:Patiala’s Surjit Singh Walia selected as Kurash referee for Asian Games Japan 2026
District School Tournament Secretary and Senior Vice President of Judo Association Punjab Charanjit Singh Bhullar said that it is a matter of great pride not only for Patiala but also for Punjab and the Indian judo world that Surjit Singh Walia of Patiala district has been selected as the international referee for the Asian Games Japan 2026.
Surjit Singh Walia is also the General Secretary of Kurash Association of Punjab and also runs a Kurash and Judo center at Sahib Nagar Theri. Under his coaching, Judo and Kurash players are making Patiala’s name shine at the State/National level and the center’s name. Arun Kumar, Kulwinder Singh Bath, Press Incharge Jaswinder Singh were present on this occasion.
