Desh Bhagat University Students Excel in Sports at National and International Levels
Mandi Gobindgarh, 9 September: Desh Bhagat University proudly recognizes the impressive achievements of its students, who have brought accolades to the institution through their outstanding performances in national and international sporting events.
Ankush Rana (MPES, 1st Semester) won a Silver Medal at the 8th Heroes Taekwondo International Championship 2025, held at Assumption University in Thailand. His dedication and skill made both the nation and DBU proud on the global stage.
Ms. Diksha (BPES, 1st Semester) secured the Gold Medal in the Asmita Khelo India State Women’s League, which took place on 31st August 2025. Representing Haryana State, she showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship.
Deepak Kumar (BPES, 3rd Semester) earned a Silver Medal at the All India Independence Cup Karate Championship, held at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi from 8th to 10th August 2025. His impressive performance stood out among participants from around the country.
