Patiala News: Team Tejinder Mehta launches “Mera Maan Bhagwant Mann” Public Outreach Campaign
Government’s achievements highlighted in major markets across the city

Patiala: With the objective of taking the Punjab Government’s four years of public welfare and development initiatives directly to the people, Team Tejinder Mehta, under the patronage of Tejinder Mehta, Chairman of the District Planning Committee and District President of the Aam Aadmi Party, today launched the “Mera Maan Bhagwant Mann” Public Outreach Campaign.
Before the launch of the campaign, Chairman Mehta and members of the team paid obeisance at Gurdwara Moti Bagh Sahib and later offered prayers at the Shiv Mandir, Qila Chowk. The campaign was formally flagged off after Gurnek Bhatti, a founding member of the Aam Aadmi Party, performed the ceremonial breaking of a coconut.
During the first phase of the campaign, Chairman Mehta and team members visited major markets across the city, interacting with shopkeepers, traders and members of the public. They distributed the Punjab Government’s booklet titled “Shandaar Chaar Saal Bhagwant Mann De Naal” along with public awareness pamphlets. People were also informed about the government’s achievements in education, healthcare, free electricity, anti-corruption initiatives, infrastructure development and various other public welfare schemes.
Chairman Mehta said the objective of the campaign is to take the Punjab Government’s welfare policies and four years of achievements directly to the people, establish meaningful public dialogue and gather valuable feedback. He said continuous engagement with the people is the greatest strength of public service. He added that while the first phase is being carried out in the city’s major markets, the campaign will be extended to different localities and residential areas in the coming days.
Team members Mahinder Mohan Singh, Nirmal Jhaneri, Ravinder Singla, S.K. Taneja, Amit Narula and Mohit Gupta said that Team Tejinder Mehta is a common platform comprising people from different religions, castes, social backgrounds and ideologies. Inspired by Chairman Mehta’s people-centric approach and positive vision, the team is working towards public service and public awareness. They said the team’s objective is to promote positive politics, spread awareness about the government’s welfare policies and mobilise public support to further strengthen Chairman Mehta’s efforts in serving the people of Patiala.
Among those present on the occasion were Guru Dakala, Sumit Takeja, Surinder Nikku, Dr. Praveen Kohli, Gurmeet Dhindsa, Dharam Singh, Manjit Singh Dhillon, Atul Goel, Rajeev Rao, Sham Lal, Davinder Jandu, Gurmeet Singh and Anil Mehta (Anni), along with a large number of members of Team Tejinder Mehta.
