Punjab News:Dr Gurpreet Mann at Teej Festival in Anandpur Sahib: Bhagwant Mann Govt’s Big Gift to Women, Before Raksha Bandhan Money Reaches Their Accounts
On the occasion of the Teej festival being celebrated in Punjab, a special programme was organised for women in Anandpur Sahib today. Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Mann, wife of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, was chief guest at the programme organised in the Anandpur Sahib Assembly constituency of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains. At the programme, women celebrated the festival of Teej and thoroughly enjoyed songs, music and cultural activities.
On this occasion, the gift money (financial assistance) for the women registered under the Maavan-Dheeyan Satkar Yogna was credited to their accounts. As the money reached their accounts, happiness was clearly visible on the faces of the women. The women said that this amount is extremely important for them and that it is helping them meet their day-to-day needs as well as several requirements related to their families.
The women said that the government’s direct transfer of the amount into their accounts is giving them an opportunity to become financially self-reliant. For them, this is not merely financial assistance, but also a symbol of the respect and trust accorded to their hard work.
The women present at the programme expressed their gratitude towards the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann-led government and said that this scheme has strengthen their financial condition and boost their confidence. The women expressed their support for Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the Aam Aadmi Party and wished that the Mann government would receive an even stronger mandate in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Amid the festive atmosphere of Teej, the women thoroughly enjoyed traditional songs, cultural performances and social interaction. The large participation and enthusiasm of the women at the programme made the entire atmosphere cheerful.
Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Mann also interacted with the women and shared the festivities of Teej with them. The women shared their experiences with her and provided information about the benefits they are receiving from this special scheme.
