Patiala News:MLA Neena Mittal led the garbage collection drive launched by Municipal Council Rajpura under ‘Mission Clean Punjab’

Under the ‘Mission Clean Punjab’ campaign launched by the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, a 10-day special cleanliness campaign is being run by the Municipal Council Rajpura in the city. Constituency MLA Neena Mittal, while leading this campaign in Rajpura, said that this special cleanliness campaign will continue till September 8 under the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Local Government Minister Harjot Singh Bains. On this occasion, ADC (Urban Development) Navreet Kaur Sekhon was also present with her.
Neena Mittal appealed to the city residents to be a part of this cleanliness drive and keep the city clean. Neena Mittal said that making the city clean, beautiful and garbage-free is not only the responsibility of the government or the municipal council, but the participation of every citizen is very important in this. The objective of ‘Mission Clean Punjab’ can be successfully realized only with the active cooperation of the people. She said that during this, the drains and road berms were cleaned from Bhogla Road to Mukt Chowk, the road dividers were cleaned from Gagan Chowk to Mukt Chowk and the work of beautification of the dividers was started.
Executive Officer Avtar Shekhari said that this campaign will continue continuously by the Municipal Council under the leadership of MLA Neena Mittal and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Navreet Kaur Sekhon.
Lavish Mittal, President Municipal Council Ritesh Bansal, Senior Vice President Des Raj, Senior President Nagar Kalpana Kukreja, Executive Officer Avtar Sekhri, Superintendent Sanitation Rajesh Kumar, Sanitary Inspector Vikas Chaudhary, Councilor Ramanjit Singh Tiwana, Rajesh Kumar Bawa, council sanitation workers and city dignitaries were present in this campaign.
