Under the able leadership of District Education Officer Shalu Mehra and under the guidance of Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Ravinderpal Sharma and in coordination with District Sports Coordinator Dr. Daljit Singh and Secretary of District School Tournament Committee Charanjit Singh Bhullar, Under-17 Boys Basketball Competition was organized at PM Shri Government Senior Secondary Smart Multipurpose School Middle Branch Punjabi Bagh Patiala. Today, as the chief guest, Gurlal Singh Ghanaur MLA Ghanaur and Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Ravinderpal Sharma and Upkar Singh Virk General Secretary Kho-Kho Federation of India reached the basketball ground and blessed the players. In today’s competition, Patiala Wing won the gold medal by defeating Ludhiana Academy in the final match. Ludhiana Academy won the silver medal. In the hard line match, the Patiala district team defeated Bathinda district and won the bronze medal.
