Patiala News:Dental Fortnite begins at CHC Tripuri
Patiala 6th October ( ) Civil Surgeon Patiala Dr. Shelly Jaitley and Deputy District Health Officer (DDHO) Dr. Sunanda Narula inaugurated Dental Fortnight at CHC Tripuri under the able leadership. Senior Medical Officers Dr. Preneet Kaur, Dr. Sarabjit Kaur , Dr. Savita Garg and Dr. Preeti Saini were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, the Health Department, while providing information about the importance of dental and oral health, encouraged people to get regular dental check-ups and take special care of oral hygiene.
During the Dental Fortnight, dental sets (dentures) will be distributed to the needy beneficiaries. Along with this, various oral health awareness activities will also be conducted across the district. Through these activities, people will be made aware about prevention of dental diseases, oral hygiene and timely dental check-ups.
The Health Department appealed to the people to make the most of the dental health services available in government health institutions and to remain aware of the health of their teeth and mouth. The main objective of this campaign is to increase awareness about oral health among the general public and provide quality dental health services to those in need
