Patiala News:Patiala’s Suraj and Abhijit Kumar win gold medals in inter-district school games karate
Under the able leadership of District Education Officer Secondary Mamta Khurana and under the guidance of Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Ravinder Pal Sharma and in coordination with District Sports Coordinator Dr. Daljit Singh and District School Tournament Committee Secretary Charanjit Singh Bhullar, the Under-17 boys’ karate competition was organized at Play Wedge Senior Secondary School, Patiala. Today, Principal Jaspal Singh State Awardee and Observer Nikhal Hans blessed the players as the chief guest. Observer Nikhil Hans said that this tournament is being organized in a very smooth manner and the Chairman of Play Wedge Senior Secondary School, Dr. Rajdeep Singh, Director Harleen Kaur and Principal Raksha Verma are also providing full support for organizing the tournament. In the Karate Under 17 boys’ competitions, in the weight category of -35 kg, Dhanpreet Singh won gold, Sharanjit Singh won silver, Gaurav won bronze, in the weight category of -40 kg, Suraj won gold, Chhavikant Sharma won silver, Hitesh Mahajan won bronze, in the weight category of -45 kg, Kunwar Pratap Singh won gold, Sahaj Singh won silver, Sandesh Kumar won bronze, in the weight category of -50 kg, Abhijit Kumar won gold, Virat Bhatt won silver, Aas Mohammad won bronze, in the weight category of -66 kg, Ridhit Garg won gold, Chandeshwar won silver, Abhijit Singh won bronze medals.
