Patiala News:Boys’ hockey competitions were held in the district school tournament.
Under the able leadership of District Education Officer Shalu Mehra and under the guidance of Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Ravinderpal Sharma and in coordination with District Sports Coordinator Dr. Daljit Singh and District School Tournament Committee Secretary Charanjit Singh Bhullar, Under 14/17 boys hockey competitions were organized at Polo Ground, Patiala. In the Under-14 competitions, Patiala-2 Zone won first, Rajpura Zone won second, Samana Zone won third, Patran Zone won fourth, in the Under-17 competitions, Patiala-2 Zone won first, Patran Zone won second, Rajpura Zone won third and Samana Zone won fourth. Principal Jaspal Singh State Awardee and District Sports Coordinator Dr. Daljit Singh reached the Polo Ground and blessed the players. On this occasion, Hockey Convener Principal Raj Kumar, Dr. Rajinder Saini Zonal Secretary Rajpura, Karamjit Kaur, Hardeep Kaur, Rajesh Kumar, Yadwinder Kaur, Gurwinder Singh Coach, Sharanjit Kaur Coach, Rajvir Singh Coach, Pushpa Coach, Baljit Singh, Mandeep Singh Coach, Simranjit Kaur Coach and Press Incharge Jaswinder Singh were present.
